James Malak

Mr. James Malak, P.E, a lead geotechnical project manager at Oweis Engineering Inc., has a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering and over 25 years of experience in the New York Metropolitan area providing geotechnical recommendations and construction support for transportation and building projects.  His experiences include bridge and infrastructure projects for the NYCDOT, NYCDEP, PANYNJ, and NYCDDC.  

His experience includes scoping and implementing the subsurface investigations, site specific seismic analyses, providing deep foundations alternatives and recommendations, and analyses of ongoing and future site settlements.  Mr. Malak communicates and coordinates well with clients, agencies and co-workers and has a proven track record of maintaining project schedules and budgets.
