Mellone-Mariniello Recreational Center

Oweis Engineering Inc. (OEI) completed a geotechnical investigation that included field exploration of the subsurface soil and existing building foundation.  The proposed building construction, was to partially abut existing building walls. The field exploration program consisted of soil borings, test pit excavations and the collection of soil samples that were submitted to a geotechnical laboratory for various engineering testing.

A geotechnical investigation report was submitted that summarized the field exploration work, laboratory testing completed, an evaluation of the observed subsurface characteristics and existing building foundation conditions along with the recommendations for the proposed construction.
