General Growth Properties retained Oweis Engineering Inc. (OEI) to provide construction quality control services including fill placement, concrete testing, and steel testing, during the proposed construction of a new retail center of five buildings at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. OEI’s services included:

• Laboratory Testing of proposed fill materials.

• Observe excavation, stripping and compaction of placed fill.

• Concrete testing.

• Observing reinforcement steel placement for size, grade and laps.

• Structural steel/welding/bolting inspection.
