The proposed construction consists of an approximate 2,850 ft2 addition. The site comprises the original school structure constructed in 1955, a four-classroom addition in 1975 and a 2 story gymnasium addition in 1994. The area of the proposed addition is currently a relatively level paved playground. The geotechnical investigation consisted of 3 borings and 2 test pits conducted to identify subsurface conditions at the site.

Based on the borings, a spread footing foundation system was recommended to support the structure under the conditions and site preparation described in this report.
