Oweis Engineering Inc. (OEI) was retained by Kaplan Companies (Kaplan) to provide construction quality control services during filling and during Dynamic Compaction construction operations at a proposed residential development consisting of apartments and townhomes in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Deep dynamic compaction criteria were established for stabilization of loose sands and a thin peat layer.

Other areas of the site were stabilized by preloading and surcharge and monitored by settlement plates. Prior to construction performed geotechnical investigation for proposed residential buildings, that included test borings, laboratory testing, engineering analysis and report.
