Oweis Engineering Inc. conducted a geotechnical investigation and provided the floodwall design depth and drainage requirements based on a transient seepage analyses for the Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT).  

Specifically, it included developing the field investigation including soil borings and downhole permeability testing, a review of the hydrogeologic setting based on published data, transient seepage analyses allowing for an unsaturated/saturated flow model using SEEP-W, geotechnical design using a sealed sheet pile wall and a collection trench, and preparation of a summary report.
