Catellus Commercial Development Corporation (Catellus) retained Oweis Engineering Inc. (OEI) to provide geotechnical investigation, analysis and design services for the construction of two warehouses in the City of Woodbridge, NJ. OEI’s services included:

• Data Collection and site investigation consisting of borings and piezocone soundings.

• Conduct a Laboratory Testing Program.

• Perform engineering analysis for the design and construction of preloading/surcharge and other needed instrumentation.

• Prepared a geotechnical engineering report documenting the analysis, site preparation methods to provide adequate support, identify needed instrumentation, groundwater levels and influence on proposed construction.
